Skin Type: Oily Skin
Oily Skin produces a manageable amount of oil but isn’t too extreme. It’s often prone to acne, blackheads and large pores. Oily skin can still become dehydrated or damaged and is often worsened from incorrect care.
Follow these tips to help manage your Oily Skin.
Things to avoid – Harsh, dehydrating cleansers, occlusive ingredients, astringents.
Tips for Very Oily Skin
Avoid harsh, dehydrating cleansers or astringents like alcohol and witch hazel. Instead try a double cleansing routine to remove excess oil, dirt and makeup. Oil and Balm cleansers cleanse both the surface of the skin and inside pores. Follow up with a Water or Gel/Foam cleanser to ensure the skin is balanced.
Try light hydration from a toner, essence or lotion. These deliver essential nourishment into the skin with leaving any texture on the skin. Oily Skin types may still want to use a lightweight gel moisturiser.
